4. What kind of terrain will we encounter?

Expect technical singletrack with loose rock, natural berms, Inca stairs, ancient communal paths, stone steps, fast sections, tight corners, switchbacks, and forest trails. The terrain varies between open highland areas, canyons, and forested sections, requiring bike control and focus.

The dry season from April to October offers the best conditions, with stable weather and dry trails. The rainy season (November to March) adds more technical challenge due to wet and muddy terrain but is still manageable with appropriate gear.
